Split fins vs Blades

I have a pair of split fins - ScubaPro Twin Jet - That I dive with. Would it be benificial to buy a pair of hard blades? I mostly scuba, because I can’t hold my breath long yet, but I am working on it.

I am thinking about buying a small light for spearfishing, but I have some questions. First will a light help when visability is bad during an overcast day or do they only make a difference at night. Second, will a light scare away the fish? I will mainly be hunting for lincod, greenling, sea bass, and flounder.
